This review is from: AMD Original Fan For AM2 Athlon 64 X2 6000+ FAN-AM6000 (Personal Computers) Purchased mine NEW from Komputerbay. Can't speak highly enough about their fast shipping. Part arrived much sooner than I expected. It arrived in NEW condition and was the equivalent size of the original AMD heat sink. Though it was not exactly like the original fan. The original fan had curved knife looking fins. (See Amazons stock photo) The fan that arrived had generic flat blade fins. Doubt this affects it performance, thought I am betting it will be louder at full speed. It also came with the stock slathering of grey thermal compound. The fan fit perfectly on my mother board and seems to do the trick. I would recommend it to anyone that needs one for their AMD X2 6000+ Edit: Flat bladed fan is really noisy compared to the original AMD. I removed one star on my rating. It is a bit noisy but it cools down the AMD athlon x64 6000+ processor very well. It is also cheap.
